With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Alyson has found her passion in helping others.
Alyson holds a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Studies from Boston University, and 2 master’s degrees in education from University of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is an educator at heart and loves to share her knowledge and spark a passion for fitness and health.
Alyson has a personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She also has a run coaching certification from the Road Runners Club of America and a Nutrition Certification through Precision Nutrition. In the group fitness space, Alyson teaches a variety of fitness formats, including Les Mills classes and Strong Nation. She has been an executive trainer for a national dance format, Be Bad Hip Hop, traveling across the US to train instructors. She loves the challenge of high intensity workouts and the fun of a packed Zumba class. She specializes in post-rehab fitness, helping clients return to sport and activity after injury, picking up where physical therapy leaves off. She also loves helping women meet their unique fitness goals, whether it be building muscle, losing the baby weight, or improving their overall health.
Outside of the gym, she is, first and foremost, a wife and mom of 2 boys. Alyson loves distance running, especially at Disney parks. She is a 9-time marathoner, but her personal favorite distance is the half marathon. She also loves being crafty and traveling with her family.
